Impacts of the ecologic restoration on the Macro vertebrate community During the Spring Seminar CIBIO- Açores, that aims to divulge to all members of the group the work that is being done, an oral presentation will be presented '' Effects of the changes in soil usage in the Macro vertebrate in the River of the Island of São Miguel''. The work in question will present the preliminary results on the effect of the ecologic restoration in the Macro vertebrate community for the Ribeira do Guilherme,in the Life+ Lands of Priolo. The study that is being developed through a collaboration between InBIO - Associated Laboratory of CIBIO ( Investigation Centre of Biodiversity and Genetic Resources- Azores with the Science and Technology Faculty of the University of Azores) and the Portuguese Society of the Study of Birds (SPEA) is part of a monitoring scheme implemented in a way to decrease impacts of the ecologic restoration of the Laurel Forest over Ribeira do Guilherme. The Spring Seminar of the CIBIO-Açores will take place during the month of May. |
